Dr. Chapman believes in meeting her patients with a smile, giving grace and taking extra time to understand each patient and their story.

Born and raised in small-town Rochester, Illinois, Dr. Courtney Chapman, knowing the title “Tooth Doctor,” was her dream, began her education at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She received a full academic scholarship, majored in both Biology and Business, minored in Chemistry and Forensic Science, met her college sweetheart, served as Chapter President of her sorority and Pre-Dental Study Club and was crowned SIUE’s Homecoming Queen! 

After graduation, Dr. Courtney worked for her sorority as an Educational Leadership Consultant for one year, traveling to college campuses all across the country, where she assisted collegiate women in developing programs relating to recruitment, marketing, leadership as well as diversity and inclusion. She credits this experience with enhancing her ability to build rapport, efficiently problem solve and adapt to ever-changing environments—all skills used every day in a dental office! 

Dr. Courtney then traveled to Alton, Illinois for her doctorate education and training at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. While balancing long days in the dental clinic and even longer nights in the library studying, Dr. Courtney also served on the SIU SDM student council and the executive board of both the American Association of Women Dentists and Xi Psi Phi Dental Fraternity.

In 2024, Dr. Courtney moved to Missouri to join O’Fallon Dental Works as an associate dentist, where she quickly found her home. She credits Dr. Dougherty and the entire office staff for their open arms and kind hearts and is so thankful for all the patients she has met. Dr. Courtney believes in meeting her patients with a smile, giving grace and taking extra time to understand each patient and their story so they can feel at home at O’Fallon Dental Works, too! She especially loves working with children and serving as a dentist for entire families. 

When she isn’t in the office and talking about teeth, Dr. Courtney enjoys reading romantic comedies, scouting out local antique stores, planning and decorating for any holiday, birthday or celebration, going to country concerts and Cardinal baseball games, and taking road trips to look for seashells in Sanibel Island, Florida. Above all, she loves to be with her family and two bulldogs, Liza and Lucy.
